Our Talent Acquisition team is a group dedicated to excellence in candidate quality and experience, hiring manager relationships and deep understanding of the market. The GTM Recruiting team supports hiring of our customer facing teams across Revenue and Customer Success. In this role you will help build and shape our overall recruiting processes and have a visible impact at Amplitude. You will be responsible for end-to-end hiring including; sourcing, screening, full candidate management, closing candidates - as well as the opportunity to get involved with ad-hoc projects and Employee Resource Group activities. As a GTM Recruiter, you will:
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and others to deeply understand our business and hiring needs; create compelling pitches to attract and engage talent; and build employer brand awareness and excitement.
  • Facilitate a timely and efficient hiring process, frequently in very competitive job functions and/or geos.
  • Creatively source and recruit for roles within GTM, which includes sales, enablement, partnerships, sales operations, and customer success.
  • Build diverse slates of candidates using modern recruiting and sourcing techniques; develop proactive sourcing strategies to build a pipeline for future hiring.
  • Review inbound applicant resumes and disposition appropriately in a timely manner.
  • Create and lead a positive, engaging and efficient candidate experience from discovery to hire.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to business leaders and manage business expectations; obtain and leverage market expertise, market intelligence data, and business acumen to educate, advise and influence recruitment strategies.
  • Review, screen, and interview candidates for key skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements; qualify candidates’ motivation throughout the process.
  • Employ effective negotiation and closing strategies to ensure each candidate is effectively managed through the offer process via a consultative approach.
  • Leverage partners in Legal, HR, Finance and Compensation to ensure alignment to process, plans and strategies.
  • Maintain excellent documentation within our ATS and CRM systems.
  • Track goals, metrics, and performance of the interview process and regularly provide feedback and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Successful track record of 5+ years' sourcing and recruiting experience required; experience recruiting for Sales and/or Customer Success roles is a plus.
  • Intellectually curious; seeks to understand the business and the impact of roles in order to effectively pitch opportunities and build interest from candidates
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and ability to adapt to market trends of a given geography or roles.
  • Strong communication, organizational, critical thinking and consultative skills.
  • Ability to connect with people cross-functionally and at all levels within the organization.
  • Data driven and assesses market conditions and trends to influence the hiring process.
  • Outbound sourcing experience across a wide range of job functions
  • Resilient and takes initiative to ensure a healthy pipeline is in place at all times
  • Passion towards building an inclusive work environment and overachieving diversity goals.
  • Experience managing the candidate journey from initial contact, right through to onboarding; excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to qualify and screen for top candidates within a highly competitive SaaS marketplace.
  • Low ego and an excellent team-player; focused on the team’s success vs solely their own
  • Takes initiative and acts with a sense of urgency
  • Eager to help develop and refine interview processes, as well as other ad hoc projects
