Job Summary:
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for partnering with hiring managers in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality to create and implement a recruiting strategy to attract highly qualified candidates to our new manufacturing facility in Union, SC. The Senior Recruiter will also be responsible for the successful execution of the hiring process, creating a positive experience for all candidates, and fostering the MycoWorks culture as we continue to grow. This role is pivotal in supporting rapid ramp up in technical, supervisory and management positions. This is a remote position, preferably in the eastern time zone. Some travel to our manufacturing plants may be required. This role will report directly to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a large volume of time-sensitive unique requisitions
- Own sourcing, screening, qualifying and coordinating of candidatesÂ
- Develop own pipeline of candidates through active sourcing efforts
- Manage incoming applications and candidate interview processÂ
- Develop interview and selection requirements and criteria, including developing interview scorecards with hiring managers
- Collect market data and insights based on candidate outreach and share findings with hiring leaders to implement new strategies
- Work closely with other Talent Acquisition team members to prioritize recruiting projects
- Maintain a relationship with hiring leaders to provide direction, track progress and make adjustments to search strategies as needed
- Stay current on best practices regarding sourcing, hiring best practices and new technologies
- Maintain an understanding of the business, growth plans and labor market challenges
- Support project management efforts, hiring planning and ATS management
- Maintain strong communication with Talent Acquisition colleagues and hiring managers on recruiting progress and challenges
Qualifications
- Must have at least 5 years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, preferably in-house in a high growth setting
- Specialty recruiting in at least two of the following areas: Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality or Supply ChainÂ
- Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with hiring managers
- Demonstrated success simultaneously managing 10+ requisitions in different departments, including actively sourcing for those roles
- Ability to share the MycoWorks story in a compelling way that would convince even the most passive candidate to become engaged
- Is genuinely passionate about diversity sourcing, interviewing and collaborating with a high-performance team
- Must be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
- Tackles new or unique roles with curiosity and enthusiasm
- Can multi-task many candidate processes at once while still giving every candidate a personal experience
- Ability to prioritize projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with different audiences
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred), LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, project management software (Monday.com) and additional candidate sourcing tools
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to our sites in Union, SC and Emeryville, CA
