Position Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Sales Enablement (GSE) team in Adobe's Digital Media for Business organization. We deliver high-impact learning experiences that address the needs of our globally distributed sales professionals. These sales professionals engage with Adobe customers and prospective customers to provide these buyers with the right Adobe solutions that help their businesses succeed.
You are a proven enablement manager who can quickly onboard and define design and implement sales enablement initiatives across the target sales audience for the US and Canada. You will own the execution of our global enablement programs, supporting organizational initiatives and priorities. This position reports to the Group Manager - Global Sales Enablement.
This role is for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently and where demonstration of effective communication and delivery skills will be used to engage a selling audience that may be in person or across the world. This person will have the business sense to discuss, develop and drive sales training and enablement aligned with the regional and corporate business priorities and sales messaging across all routes to market.
Responsibilities
- Develop regional enablement plans - including yearly strategy plans, calendar of activities, results, budget forecast, communication plan, DACI, and measurable outcomes - for global programs and regional initiatives
- Project lead the collection of enablement requirements, the prioritization of results, the delivery of enablement, and data collection and ongoing reporting
- Proactively communicate regular status reports/briefings highlighting outcomes based on established critical metrics
- Tailor global enablement programs for the target sales audience; lead and manage the regional implementation of these end-to-end
- Partner with Education leadership teams to define training needs, plans, and results
- Participate in the design and development of training materials for your audiences
- Establish critical metrics in alignment with leadership and GSE strategy, and use data to drive decision making
- Regularly update senior leadership and collect new requirements in line with the strategy
- Maintain records of assessments and participation across all training modalities
- Coordinate training activities, including summits, program launches, and content refreshes
- Stay up to date on Adobe's core products, programs, sales systems, and tools
- Effectively collaborate on training plans and deliveries in close partnership with other team members
- Partner with Regional Enablement Leads around the world to implement global initiatives and share standard processes to maintain consistent messaging and resources at scale
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional work experience with a proven ability in corporate sales training/enablement, or sales environment within a technology organization
- Consistent record of accomplishment in successfully crafting and deploying training and enablement programs, with measurable results in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work in multifaceted work environments with limited supervision to deliver results
- Experience working cross-functionally to develop regional and global training initiatives.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize
- Keen sense of how sales professionals think and operate, and how they consume and apply new findings
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and create seller-ready results
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbally
- Ability to meet established outcomes and quality standards and to deliver fully on commitments
- Familiarity with formal sales methodologies such as Value Selling, Challenger Sales, and SPIN
- Validated experience with adult learning principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- BS/BA required
- Willing to travel up to 25%+ of the time
- Sales or selling-related experience
- Training facilitation experience
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $131,200 -- $239,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
