CLA is looking to hire a Reimbursement Senior Analyst to join our Charlotte, NC Healthcare team.
As a Reimbursement Senior Analyst, you will work within the Healthcare Group serving a variety of healthcare entities (hospitals, health systems, federally qualified health centers, skilled nursing facilities, etc.) by providing Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement related services. The Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reporting Senior will work with CliftonLarsonAllen team members and clients to plan and prepare cost reports and consulting projects and will report to Healthcare principals and directors.

As a Reimbursement Senior Analyst, you will work within the Healthcare Group serving a variety of healthcare entities (hospitals, health systems, federally qualified health centers, skilled nursing facilities, etc.) by providing Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement related services. The Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reporting Senior will work with CliftonLarsonAllen team members and clients to plan and prepare cost reports and consulting projects and will report to Healthcare principals and directors.
As a Reimbursement Senior Analyst, you will:
- Coordinate and prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
- Coordinate and prepare reimbursement related consulting projects
- Calculate interim payment rates and prepare interim rate change requests
- Maintain a working knowledge of rules and regulations of the Medicare program and State Medicaid programs
- Research various topics as necessary for clients or CliftonLarsonAllen personnel related to Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Responsible for the development of services to provide to CliftonLarsonAllen clients and potential clients to positively impact revenue
- Become actively involved in practice management, i.e. participating in professional organizations and associations which develop/build relationships with clients, potential customers, and industry leaders, etc.
- Research related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and developing a reimbursement library
- Operationalizing our company's purpose "to create opportunities - for our clients, or people, and our communities."
Think you're a fit? As our ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Three (3) or more years' experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement
- Knowledge of Medicare program and state Medicaid program rules and regulations
- Use of Medicare cost report software
- Strong PC skills and working knowledge of participant recordkeeping software applications
- Analytical, yet creative thinking to enable effective decision making.
- Strong goal orientation/self-motivation.
- Ability to handle pressure in a positive professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - client service orientation.
- Able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Solid written communication skills to enable incumbent to prepare accurate and detailed work papers and reports.
