Senior Release Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Software Core team is hiring for a skilled Release Manager to contribute to the successful project management of a large portfolio of IBM products. With approximately 60 services delivering on our common platform we are searching for someone to:

• Help onboard new services to the Software Hub guiding them throughout the process and ensuring that all non-functional requirements are successfully delivered
• Manage the on-time delivery of feature requirements for all major releases
• Author Cloud Pak playbook entries and coordinate updates to the Cloud Pak certification tool
• Work with PM and the architecture team to ensure technical specifications are in place for all platform features and create EPICs to ensure these features are implemented across all ~60 services
• Triage incoming defects and continuously follow up on their progress
• Contribute innovative suggestions for process improvement and automation

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5-10 Years of project management or development management experience
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire software development lifecycle and GTM requirements
• Ability to work with architects on technical specification requirements and translate these into project line items
• Experience managing project scrums and prioritizing must fix defects
• Experience with github projects is an asset
• Expertise at working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic development environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
