Senior Reports Developer

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Reports Developer for the North America Data Office, Data Insights Team. This role will have primary responsibility for North America business reporting, as well as integration of new reporting solutions. This role will work closely with various teams to understand local requirements, and then work with IT and Data Management team resources to integrate these requirements into the broader BI landscape. We are on a journey to change our legacy BI landscape and drive more value from our data for the business. Tableau is our primary reporting visualization tool, and advanced knowledge of Tableau is essential in this role. This role will be responsible for design and implementing solutions related to our data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects to standardize and digitize reporting utilizing the range of Business Intelligence tools and methodologies available at Schneider.

• Design and implement Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (DW/BI) solutions and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance, based on end user requirements.

• Troubleshoot, analyze and validate current DW BI solutions to ensure data quality.

• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.

• Enable Tableau report development through training and data source preparation.

• Serve as liaison between NAM Data Office and Corporate Business Intelligence and local Analytics teams.

This job might be for you if you fit the following requirements:

• 4-year bachelors degree required; MIS/Finance/Accounting/Computer Science degree preferred.

• Business Intelligence tool experience required. Tableau experience required.

• Datawarehouse design experience required.

• Proven experience in understanding data flows between systems.

• Ability to adapt to change, encourage collaboration and work with other teams.

• Experience with other enterprise Dashboard and Reporting tools such as Oracle, Redshift, SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI, etc. is also a plus.

• Familiarity with SQL language andor knowledge working with database applications is ideal.

• Knowledge of one or more ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, etc.) is required.

• Experience with one or more programming languages(Python, Java, R, or similar) is ideal.

• Experience with Databricks a plus.

• Knowledge of one or more Big Data platforms a plus.

• Tableau administration and governance experience is a plus.
