Senior Research Analyst, Token Listings

 

 

 

The Token Research Team sits within the Legal and Compliance Division and is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research on various technical, legal, and compliance-related issues. Okcoin is based in San Jose, California, and has customers worldwide with offices in the United States (San Jose, San Francisco and New York City), Europe, Asia, and Australia. The Token Research Team provides research support for Okcoin team members across the globe.

 

 

Sitting within the Legal and Compliance Division, your primary responsibility will be drafting objective and thorough due diligence reports on tokens across numerous ecosystems that are being considered for listing on the company's exchanges around the globe. You will be required to perform "Politically Exposed Person" and sanctions screenings, investigate smart contracts, assess levels of decentralization, evaluate protocol tokenomics, use block explorers like Etherscan, survey wallet addresses, and much more. You also will provide nuanced technical insight to the Legal, Risk and Listing teams throughout the review process to help ensure our customers are protected from negligent and/or bad actors.
