Senior Research Informatics Analyst

Job Description:Provides expertise and coordination for data analysis and interpretation for the Essentia Institute of Rural Health. Responsible for building and maintaining complex research databases including a Virtual Data Warehouse to support and enhance EIRH research activities. Creates and develops essential research project data sets, reports and deliverables to ensure availability and timely dissemination of accurate information in support of research projects. Plans and designs data extraction methodology and data layouts, and performs data analysis and interpretation. Builds external partnerships, identifies and incorporates new data sources, and guides research informatics team members.
Experience with Python, R, and SAS (Enterprise Guide or similar) is strongly desired.
Experience with Clinical Research Data Management, Clinical Data Analysis, and the Epic data model (Clarity and Caboodle) is strongly preferred.
This is a remote, work-from-home position.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Computer Programming or Systems Analysis position including documented experience creating SQL queries or documented SAS experience in a research environment.

OR

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study and a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Computer Programming or Systems Analysis position including documented experience creating SQL queries or documented SAS experience. Experience in a research environment preferred.

OR

Minimum of 9 years of experience in a Computer Programming or Systems Analysis Position including documented experience creating SQL queries or documented SAS experience. Experience in a research environment preferred.
