Job Description:

• Design and build data-driven models of human behavior, expression, and gestures.
• Analyze and evaluate the quality of a human-NEON interaction and suggest ways to improve it.
• Provide input on designing data collection and annotations efforts.
• Perform machine learning on multi-modal behavioral data.
• Work closely with the software development team to scale training and deployment of the ML models.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role.
• Applicants must have 2 years of experience in the following:
• (1) modeling, analyzing, and synthesizing human emotions, behavior, expressions, and gestures;
• (2) building machine learning models with multi-modal human data including speech, videos, and text;
• (3) engineering machine learning systems for production (beyond research);
• (4) data science and pre-processing of data for ML systems as needed for clean ML models;
• (5) data processing on cloud (serverless computing or Platform as a Service – PaaS);
• (6) generative modeling and GANs; and
• (7) working with natural language processing systems.
