What you will do -

• Provides technical support to engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks.
• Executes on tasks per procedure and maintains documentation per GDP, under minimal supervision.
• Perform various types of physical and chemical tests to assess the performance of materials.
• Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action.

What you need -

• High school Diploma or GED required. Technical certification or Associate's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Biomedical Engineering or related field of study preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience required. Chemical or material research/testing environment preferred.
• Hands-on working experience in a laboratory environment with a demonstrated understanding of good documentation practices.
• Demonstrated mechanical, material or other laboratory testing and/or machining expertise and ability to handle common chemicals
• Attention to detail is essential to this role.
• Effective problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with effective verbal and written communication to all R&D engineers.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks with minimal guidance
• Demonstrated proficiency in PC based applications, including Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.
• Ability to develop into self-starter and learn to work independently.
