Job Description:

Work on machine learning, computer vision, data mining and natural language understanding; Develop ML models for Samsung TV applications such as video understanding and work on innovations which are translated to improved product; Conduct advanced research in deep learning and computer vision leading to patents and submissions to top-tier machine learning conferences; Quickly prototype new ideas/technologies to create proof of concept and demos and summarize research findings in high-quality papers. 10% domestic and international travel expected.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position.
• Requires four (4) years of post-baccalaureate work experience with the following:
  • Conducting advanced research in deep learning and computer vision (in the field of multimodal video understanding) to develop patents and public papers in top-tier ML conferences.
  • Using natural language processing to develop algorithms for use in commercial electronics.
  • Performing rapid and quick prototyping to create Proof of concept demos.
  • Cross collaboration management with other AI Labs and discussions of technology.
  • Providing technical management and direction of other ML researchers.
  • Giving presentations and talks on research topics both within lab and outside labs.
  • Using machine learning frameworks based on Tensorflow and Pytorch.
  • Optimizing AI Models for On device and Cloud frameworks for use in commercial products.
