As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in capturing, recognizing, and accurately reporting on our global revenue streams, impacting everything from cinemas to smartphones. This position will be hybrid out of Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze transactions to ensure accurate revenue treatment, including third-party royalty payments and contract validations.
- Reconcile revenue-related accounts and perform closing duties with meticulous attention to detail and compliance with SOX controls.
- Resolve system issues, collaborate with IT for process improvements, and assist auditors as necessary.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to influence best practices and contribute to internal financial procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, with 3-4 years of public accounting experience highly desired (5 years' relevant experience for candidates without public accounting background).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606) and exceptional communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP is highly desired.
The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $84,500 - $101,500, which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
