Senior Revenue Accountant

We are seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our team. As a Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining the revenue module, supporting monthly close, and assisting with year-end audit. You will work closely with the corporate accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support revenue accounting process improvements for gathering data, accounting, and reporting.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, including revenue-based royalty accruals and intercompany recharges.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and recommend resolutions for aged items.
• Support budgets and financial projections for financial statements, from revenues to operating margins and key balance sheet items.
• Assist with revenue recognition during month-end close, including reviewing contracts and reconciling deferred revenue.
• Support period-end close processes, including reconciling internal accounts, comparing actual performance to latest financial outlook, preparing revenue and expense accruals, and reviewing accuracy of revenue, gross margin, and expense information.
• Assist in calculating monthly revenue recognition on professional services projects.
• Provide customer support to clients and internal teams regarding billing-related inquiries.
• Provide support for both internal and external quarterly and year-end audit efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record in revenue accounting
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in the finance and accounting industry is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
