Senior Revenue Accountant (Remote)

Overview:

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, you will support the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close processes for revenue and preparation of relevant sections of the financial statements following US GAAP.

• Identify, analyze, and apply technical guidance related to software and SaaS revenue recognition, managing accounting policies and memos related to revenue.
• Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404.
• Partner with external auditors to lead closure of revenue accounting matters and annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Evaluate processes, and drive system implementation and enhancements including integrations from Salesforce, Zuora, RevPro, SAP & Oracle.

• 3+ years previous accounting experience years
• Big 4 or other public accounting experience require
• Excel skills (formula design, pivot tables, charts)
• Experience with data collection and modeling, what-if scenarios
• Degree in accounting, active CPA or working towards
