We are looking for a Senior Renewals Operations Analyst to join our Deal Strategy & Operations team to support Seismic’s hyper-growth. The Deal Strategy & Operations team’s mission is to support Seismic’s Leadership team in driving rapid growth by enabling good, efficient decision making, effective execution, and scale.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist the Manager, Renewal Ops in leading the renewals “Deal Desk” and operations team to create, share, and revise renewals quote with Customer Success Managers 90-150 days prior to customer contract expiration. 
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of tracking, analyzing, and reporting on Renewals Quarterly Goals and KPIs. Candidate should ideally be familiar with basic Renewals KPI’s in a subscription business such as ARR, Retention, Expansion, Churn, & Down-sell. 
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to Renewals and Customer Success leadership to inform decision-making. 
  • Assisting Renewals leadership with Annual and Quarterly planning, including capacity planning and KPI development. 
  • A willingness to mentor other members of the Renewal Operations team – actively participate in the development of team members. 
  • Validate accuracy / completeness of data supporting quotes. 
  • Maintain and update documentation of contract information, notes, and quotes across install base in Salesforce, and other applications. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to understand special client context/issues.  
  • Coordinate engagement between Field Sales and Customer Success Management. 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining renewal operations processes, policies, and tools (e.g., Salesforce) to help enhance workflows and make improvements to the overall Renewals processes. 
  • Build, document, and share best-practices internally. Strive for an environment of continual improvement – maximizing automation to scale as the business grows. 

What you bring to the team:

  • Five or more years of Revenue Operations experience specifically in the area of Deal Operations, Deal Desk, Pricing, and/or Renewal Operations 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, and/or business administration 
  • In depth CPQ and CRM experience is required. CLM and Billings System experience is preferred. Salesforce and NetSuite preferred 
  • Technology, Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”), knowledge and experience required 
  • Experienced in contract negotiations, pricing, and the various facets of the quote-to-cash cycle 
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Clari) and/or Salesforce dashboarding 
  • Detail oriented with an emphasis on data integrity 
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Exceptional problem solver, with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions 
  • Agile and enjoy the speed of a fast-paced, highly engaged startup environment 
  • Sharp analytical skills and an “insight-ready” mindset: you do not just report the data, you generate insights & provide business recommendations 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders that have diverse interests 
  • Possess program management skills and are comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to influence others 
  • Enjoy acquiring new knowledge and skills and can do so quickly

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range. ​​

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary. The actual incentive amount will vary and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.

$70,400—$121,400 USD
