Senior Risk Analyst

Job Duties:  
At-Bay, Inc. in Mountain View, CA is a cyber insurance provider helping businesses protect their digital and data security risks. We are seeking experienced Senior Risk Analysts to evaluate data and create data models to support business and risk decision making. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of actuarial science or statistical mathematics, as  well as experience with risk modeling, to perform the duties of the position. 

Job responsibilities and duties include: 

  • Perform Gap analysis - define, track, and monitor KPIs and trends through quantitative analysis, tools, ad hoc reports, and models to support business and risk decision making. 
• Translate data insights into recommendations and automated actions that will drive business growth and engagement, and marketing competitiveness. 
• Own rule logic changes, implementation and testing, version controls. 
• Conduct disruption/impact analysis pre and post implementation. 
• Build accurate and coherent dashboards. 
• Develop a solid understanding of segment level valuations to optimize segment level policies. 

This position has no direct reports and does not supervise the work of any other employees.

Minimum Requirements:  
Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or any related field of study, plus at least two (2) years of experience in  the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. 

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following: 

1.   SQL or Excel 
2.   Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau 
3.   Demonstrated ability and history of performing analyses with autonomy and accuracy 
4.   Demonstrated history of cross-functional execution and building trust with other teams to meet a shared goal 
5.   Demonstrated abilities with analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking 
6.   Risk modeling 

No travel required. Work from home (WFH) benefit available.
