The team:
Risk Analytics is one of the most critical, cross functional business units at our company. As an Analyst you leverage data to drive strategic decisions involving billions of dollars in exposure. In this role you’ll be invested in so you can operate autonomously, identify opportunities, track KPIs and own decisions.
Your impact:
- Gap analysis - define, track and monitor KPIs and trends through quantitative analysis, tools, ad hoc reports, and models to support business and risk decision making.
- Translate data insights into recommendations and automated actions that will drive business growth and engagement, and marketing competitiveness
- Own rule logic changes, implementation and testing, version controls
- Conduct disruption/impact analysis pre and post implementation
- Build accurate and coherent dashboards
- Develop a solid understanding of segment level valuations to optimize segment level policies
In this role we value:
- Experience in data analysis, risk analysis, data science, decision science, or similar quantitative fields, experience in Insurance is a plus
- Expertise in SQL and Excel, Tableau proficiency required, R/Python experience a plus
- Ability to perform analyses with a high degree of autonomy and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver insights clearly and succinctly
- Track record of cross-functional execution, building trust with other teams to meet a shared goal
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Our estimated base pay range for this role is $120,000-$150,000 per year. Base salary is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to market data, location, internal equitability, domain knowledge, experiences and skills.
