Senior Risk Management Analyst

Summary

The JR Simplot Company is adding a Senior Risk Management Analyst with insurance industry related experience to join its Risk Management Team in Boise, Idaho. This position will play a key role in the establishment and management of global insurance programs. Interacts with all Simplot Business Groups and Simplot Global Services teams and externally with Insurance Advisors, Insurers, Claims Adjusters, Captive Administrators, Actuaries and Regulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Participates in collaborative insurance program strategic meetings. Coordinates, collects, assembles, and maintains internal information necessary to complete and market underwriting submissions for the placement of global insurance program including all lines of traditional insurance as well as alternative financing programs.
• Manages the insurance renewal process, evaluates insurance proposals, makes recommendation, and contributes to insurance placements decisions.
• Develop, monitor, and coordinate with finance department the risk management department budget. Calculate and allocate premiums, losses, and risk management expenses globally and initiates payment of premiums & fees.
• Reviews insurance binders and policies for accuracy.
• Supports Simplot Risk Manager, provides mentoring & training and supports the advancement of department risk management goals.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent work experience

Relevant Experience

5+ years' experience in a corporate risk management role or commercial insurance related experience as underwriter or broker.

Required Certifications

Insurance related certificates desirable but not required (CPCU, ARM, AAI etc)
