Greenlight is seeking a Senior Risk Management Specialist to join their Risk Operations team. This role is pivotal in upholding the
organization's financial integrity and protecting against fraud. If you're passionate about shaping a financially healthy and happy future for kids, this opportunity could be your chance to make a significant impact.
This role reports to the Associate Manager, Risk Management
Your day-to-day:
- Demonstrate SME expertise in performing detailed analysis of high-risk add funds, purchases, and money movement through real-time queues. Proven track record in resolving fraud alerts promptly to mitigate potential revenue losses and minimize customer harm.
- Support internal escalations from leadership, peers, and partner teams on escalated matters related to fraud risk.
- Provide mentoring and assistance to fellow employees, answering their questions, and offering feedback on customer issues. Support all areas of Fraud Operations as needed.
- Maintain and exceed performance standards set by the business to ensure operational efficiencies and accurate decision-making.
- Exhibit a strong ability to determine existing fraud trends by analyzing accounts and transaction patterns. Share feedback on observations and recommend best practices based on changing patterns and trends.
- Identify opportunities for fraud rule and fraud system improvements to mitigate losses and increase department efficiency while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Support early assessments of new products, features, and risk rules.
- Keep up to date on Greenlight products, policies, and procedures. Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes, enhancements, and customer care issues.
- Exhibit exceptional customer relationship skills and a passion for problem-solving.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and mental flexibility to comprehend both the problem's details and the larger business solutions. Enjoy collaborating with the team and other departments, all while maintaining a self-motivated, target-driven, and independent work ethic.
What you'll bring to the team:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in a risk review environment, demonstrating a solid foundation in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in the knowledge of back-end systems that support consumer transactions and operational procedures, allowing for effective risk analysis and decision-making.
- A clear understanding of Risk Assessment Methodologies, enabling the identification and evaluation of potential risks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, combined with meticulous research capabilities and an unwavering attention to detail, to thoroughly evaluate and respond to risk factors.
- The ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, ensuring a flexible approach to risk management strategies.
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as an integral part of a team contributing to collective risk management efforts.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and risk-related discussions.
- A self-starter mindset, actively seeking opportunities for learning and professional development within the field of risk management.
- Proficiency in the use of Google apps and familiarity with fraud solutions providers such as LexisNexis, IDology, Zendesk, Braintree, and similar tools.
- Foster collaboration and engagement while exhibiting a strong commitment to our organizational culture.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in risk management principles.
Working Hours:
The role requires working in rotational Shifts:
1. From 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM IST
2. From 11:30 PM to 8:30 AM IST.
