Job Description:

About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Treasury, Insurance & Risk Management, the Senior Claims Specialist will perform duties related to claims and insurance management for Treehouse Foods, Inc. The Senior Claims Specialist will also assist and contribute to the overall Risk Management Program and related activities.

You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Serve as the organization's frontline representative for claims management primarily for workers compensation but may include property, general liability, and auto.

• Manage claims effectively by ensuring all claims or potential claims are entered and tracked in electronic database/reporting systems.

• Track contacts and train internal personnel regarding claims entry and management.

• Collect, track, and trend quarterly claims data, including preparation of presentations in various formats.

• Analyze tracked data to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Participate/run monthly claims discussions.

• Develop and foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to include defense counsel and insurance brokerage firms.

• Perform other risk management related duties as required.

• Assisting with site requests for Industrial Hygiene testing

• Assist with data collection from plants and various department for the annual insurance renewal.
