The Robotic Process Automation(RPA) Solution Analyst will work in a collaborative manner with various project/product, architecture, development, and Infrastructure teams to gather requirements for the automation of business processes via bots using RPA tools. This position provides opportunity to demonstrate your technical and analytical skills by participating in a variety of projects that will be leveraging RPA to bring value across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

Gather requirements and estimate bots to automate repeatable processes using various tools across business processes and functions that span multiple environments.

  • Gather requirements for new robot opportunities
  • Facilitate & provide oversight to RPA scoping and project design
  • Ensure & Optimize standards, compliance, and institutionalization of best practice for RPA requirements
  • Comply with RPA and IT Governance model
  • Pipeline management of existing and new robot opportunities
  • Constantly evaluate business opportunities for new robots
  • Work closely with business experts, leadership to document requirements and define business cases and best uses for RPA
  • Evangelize robotics in order to create robotics interest
  • Oversee detailed as-is process description documentation, detail to-be automated process description document and to-be automated process description document for each project
  • Analyze and decompose business processes and design a solution to automate these processes
  • Create end to end diagrams of business processes
  • Assist in the development of high-level project plans for projects and coordinate with PMs on task scoping, definition and progress reporting
  • Provides continuous updates to RPA stakeholders and Project Manager during project delivery


Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational, military, or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • 5+ years of RPA Solution analyst experience
  • Experience with systems development life cycle and structured programming methods (both traditional and agile), specifically requirements definition and documentation
  • Highly analytical, collaborative resource capable of exercising judgment in selecting the proper RPA solutions to achieve automation of manual business processes.
  • Agile mindset and experience working with agile methodology
  • Experience with one or more Scripting languages (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UI Path, Pega Open Span, QTP etc.)
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience creating and documenting business process flows
  • Hands on experience in Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High energy, result driven person with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to energize teams through inclusiveness and connection with people; especially equipped to collaborate and lead remote / offshore teams.
  • Strong commitment to timely delivery of RPA solutions that delight our business partners


Required Work Experience

  • 5 years of IT experience, preferred
  • 3 years of business analyst experience, preferred
  • 3 years of RPA experience, preferred
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background


Salary Band: 06C

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
