The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer with commercial experience for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented you love what you do and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products and growth features.

What we are looking for:

  • +5 years experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience working with the libraries like Resque and RSpec.
  • Ability to write clean Ruby code.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git Github SVN and Mercurial.
  • Experience with Angular or React.js.
  • Familiarity with MVC Mocking RESTful and ORM.
  • Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5 JavaScript and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of server-side templating languages including Slim and Liquid.
  • Familiarity with testing tools.

Nice-to-have:

  • Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours).
  • Knowledge of TypeScript.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing new web applications.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
  • Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
  • Integrating data storage solutions.
  • Creating backend components.
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Integrating user-facing elements designed by the frontend team.
  • Connecting applications with additional web servers.
  • Maintaining the APIs.
