Senior Sales Account Executive (West Coast hours - 12.00-21.00 Monday - Friday)

Reporting to: Sales Manager

The team 


Join the team at an exciting growth stage. Over the last 5 years we’ve built a firm foundation in the US, providing funding to thousands of small businesses. We’re now accelerating and scaling rapidly, driven by the launch of new strategic partnerships with some of the world’s leading tech companies. 

You’ll join our existing US sales team and be part of both the wider US go-to-market team as well as the global sales team. This is an opportunity to play a high impact and entrepreneurial role driving our growth in the US, as well as working closely with global teams to share best practices and continuously improve our go-to-market approach. 

 


The role 


As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will manage your own pipeline of Liberis’ largest and most valuable deals and be responsible for taking them from first contact through to funding. Uniquely, our partnership model drives a high volume of qualified, inbound leads that our Sales team are experts in converting. 

You will work with business owners to understand their funding needs, sell the Liberis solution and then assist them through the process to completed funding. Internally, you’ll collaborate with Partnerships, Operations and Risk to deliver the best experience for the customer.  



Key responsibilities include: 

 

  • Own a deal pipeline of high value new customers and have full responsibility for taking them from first contact through to live customer 
  • Use a range of inbound and outbound sales and communications strategies across multiple channels, leveraging Liberis’ sales tooling including Gong and Salesforce 
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the onboarding of new customers to ensure successful Initials funding then handover to our Renewals team for ongoing Customer Success and future funding 
  • Deliver a white glove customer experience, taking a consultative approach 
  • Capture feedback & iterate strategies to find the winning approach for Liberis in the US. Capture the learnings from trials and tests and turn these into best practices understood and adopted across Liberis globally 
  • Champion the US market and merchants internally, and Liberis externally 
  • Act as a role model and mentor for junior members of the sales team

  • Track record in complex and high value sales processes, hitting & exceeding targets 
  • A strategic and process-driven approach to selling, with strong time management and prioritisation 
  • You are an excellent communicator & strong relationship builder 
  • Excellent with numbers  
  • Team player, used to working with others to achieve success 
  • Goal-oriented problem solver with a positive mindset, actively seeking creative ways to overcome obstacles and make improvements
