Working under direct supervision, the Sales Assistant provides administrative support for the Sales team in addition to sales tracking and reporting. This position reports to the Sales Director and may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and coordinate a diversified workload but some non-routine activities will require a supervisor's advanced approval.
Principal accountabilities
  • Maintains Customer Database by inputting Customer Contracts within Customer Portal(s)
  • Maintains Promotional Database input and reporting as needed
  • Supports the sales team with Customer presentations, which includes capturing data, presentation formatting, crafting charts, graphs, tables, etc
  • Works with the Customer Service Team to validate order(s) placed by the buyer, scheduled delivery dates and confirmation of delivery
  • Works with Claims Coordinators on deductions for the region
  • Supports the Claims Coordinators on Customer Repays, including submission and follow-up
  • Collaborates with team members on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects
  • Adhoc projects, reports and other tasks as needed

Qualifications
Functional and Technical Skills
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years general office experience required; experience as an administrative assistant or coordinator preferred
  • Solid understanding of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Showed talent of administrative writing skills, verbal communication, reporting skills, supply management, office equipment maintenance, organization skills, time management, event planning, and project management.
  • Proficient ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.
