FastSpring is currently seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our APAC sales team. As the first SDR in APAC, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness and generating interest in FastSpring’s industry-leading e-commerce solution through cold calling, emailing, custom video prospecting, social outreach, and field events to prospective customers. You will work diligently to identify new potential clients for FastSpring while driving the creation of a sales pipeline. This is a fully remote position.Â
Typical Daily Responsibilities:Â
- Create interest and buzz for FastSpring offerings amongst a diverse global client base.Â
- Contact potential clients to identify, cultivate, and develop opportunities.Â
- Use strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments with Account Executives.Â
- Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices.Â
- Utilize Salesforce.com to log, track, and maintain customer contact records.Â
- Identify and remove typical buying objections in prospect discussions.Â
- Attend sales meetings, trainings, and trade shows to keep current with technology.
Skills and Qualifications:Â
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.Â
- Business Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English is required.
- Experience within the payments industry.Â
- Ability to focus on results while working independently.Â
- Self-starter, capable of organizing tasks and staying focused in a fast-paced sales environment.Â
- Ability to adapt to changing goals based on customer demands and market conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills: capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm, focused business demeanor, and taking quick action to resolve issues.Â
- Possess an interest in payments, gaming, eCommerce software, and/or other web/internet applications.
- Interest in working within a start-up/scale-up environment in a rapidly expanding and changing environment. Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Experience within the gaming industry.Â
- Experience selling into the Greater China MarketÂ
