This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Development Manager in India.
This role sits at the heart of a high-performing, fast-scaling sales development organization focused on driving predictable pipeline growth across multiple markets.
You will lead and elevate an established SDR function with strong inbound performance while building a scalable outbound engine from the ground up.
The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on coaching, requiring close collaboration with team leaders and individual contributors.
You will be responsible for improving qualification quality, pipeline velocity, and overall conversion efficiency across the funnel.
Working in a fully remote, global environment, you will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to optimize lead flow and performance.
This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives in data-driven, high-activity, and AI-enabled sales environments.
Accountabilities:
Lead the end-to-end SDR function, including performance management, playbooks, qualification frameworks, routing, SLAs, and success metrics.
• Develop and scale SDR talent through structured coaching, training programs, and clear career progression paths toward account executive roles.
• Build and operationalize outbound sales motion including multi-channel prospecting strategies across email, phone, LinkedIn, and messaging platforms.
• Drive pipeline generation performance by improving quantity, quality, and conversion velocity across inbound and outbound sources.
• Manage day-to-day execution through team leaders, including standups, pipeline reviews, activity tracking, and hands-on deal support.
• Oversee sales operations infrastructure, including funnel analytics, capacity planning, CRM workflows, and real-time reporting dashboards.
• Champion AI-driven productivity tools, automation, and personalization techniques to enhance SDR efficiency and output.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations to improve lead quality and alignment.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in sales development or B2B sales, including at least 2+ years managing and scaling SDR or BDR teams.
• Strong ability to sell and coach sales professionals, with proven experience diagnosing performance gaps and improving outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience building outbound sales motions and integrating them into existing inbound systems.
• Strong operational mindset with expertise in sales systems, conversion metrics, and high-volume pipeline management.
• Experience working with distributed, global teams across time zones and maintaining performance consistency.
• Deep expertise in CRM platforms such as HubSpot, including workflow design, automation, and reporting.
• Strong data literacy with experience using tools such as Looker or similar BI platforms for sales analytics.
• Familiarity with AI tools, generative AI, and automation solutions applied to sales productivity.
• Startup-oriented mindset, comfortable with fast-paced environments, ambiguity, and rapid scaling.
• Fluent in English; based in India.
