Senior Sales Executive - Omaha, NE
Job Description
This is a hybrid role that requires frequent in-person meetings. Monthly/Quarterly onsite visits to managed client portfolio expected. If you are not a current resident of Nebraska, you must be willing to relocate to the Omaha area be considered for the position.
The Impact You'll Make
The Senior sales executive is responsible for prospecting and selling Professional Services, Products and Managed IT services to small and mid-market clients. This role requires a strong understanding of the MSP business model as well as mid-market and small enterprise client engagements and a proven track record in managing and growing a profitable Sales portfolio, experience selling B2B Cloud/Network/VOIP Solutions, and a consultative ability to partner with clients and provide them with trusted and best-in-class solutions. The outside sales executive will help increase sales opportunities, improve market position, maximize new business development efforts, and secure new sales.
What You'll Do:
- Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Follow up on active sales pipeline
- Reach agreed-upon sales targets by the deadline
- Identify and develop new business through prospecting, networking, social media, and referrals.
- Build and monitor the sales pipeline to ensure a continuous population of immediate and long-term opportunities.
- Prospect for new clients using CRM and other lead generation tactics, including email, phone, and in-person cold calling
- Create proposals, meet with prospects, and follow up to close deals
- Record activities in our CRM software and update sales notes for prospects
What You've Mastered:
- 2+ Years of industry experience and sales experience in Managed Services, Value=Added Reseller (VAR) channel sales, IT consulting sales, or any related IT field.
- Successful track record of meeting and exceeding weekly sales targets in appointment setting, face-to-face meetings, proposal submissions, and closes
- An aggressive self-starter with excellent prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills
- Previous sales training with sales skills and techniques
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Valid driver's license
