Role: Senior Sales Executive

Division: Customer Success - Public & Social Impact

Compensation: Ranges from $140,000-180,000 (Base) + Annual/Quarterly/Accelerator Bonuses

A Senior Sales Executive drives business results by developing a well-managed, profitable, and growing pipeline. This role will align with the Public & Social Impact (P&SI) Client Partner Team. This role will include an emphasis on growing and expanding this portfolio of public sector clientele across Colorado and spanning north and south across the front range. Successful candidates must thrive in a people-based culture and be passionate about identifying new client opportunities within the context of government and non-profit buyers, particularly within the SLED (State, Local, and Higher Education) market.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive development of a sales strategy in partnership with the account and practice leaders
  • Work with new and existing clients to build a pipeline and expand Slalom's addressable market
  • Drive and support Request for Proposal/Request for Information (RFP/RFI) responses with knowledge of client expectations and champion win themes
  • Collaborate and partner with internal teams to deliver succinct messaging and marketing materials to a target audience
  • Manage negotiations of the opportunities in the pipeline
  • Build long-term relationships with SLED buyers while balancing top of funnel, new business acquisition
What We're Looking For:
  • Sales Executive background, with a passion for consultative, solution-based selling
  • Deep SLED industry experience and a solid rolodex of contacts and clientele that can be activated and introduced to Slalom
  • Understanding of how the legislative and budgeting process works, especially within the State of Colorado
  • Ability to identify and partner with procurement divisions to understand organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to the agency
  • Ability to shape future solicitations and position Slalom for opportunities ~18 months before the procurement cycle officially launches
  • Experience and ability to align teams to work toward a common goal; consistently demonstrate strong people leadership skills
  • Organization and methodology as well as strong prioritization and negotiation skills
  • Experience with the buying cycles of local and state government offices
