POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Sales Executive will help PayFlex build our business in the national accounts, middle markets, small group markets, distribution channel, group insurance and specialty products areas. This role will also have the responsibility of developing relationships with the broker/consultant communities and direct to plan sponsors in assigned territory. Managing all business development efforts including marketing, communications, training and competitive analysis. This role is expected to be in market and travel to key markets will be part of the strategy. Sales and Account Management experience of 8+ years in the benefits, consulting and financial services industry required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Cultivate strong, productive and influential relationships with brokers/consultants, customers, and peers focusing on the larger or more complex accounts/prospects.
  • Implements strategies necessary to attain sales objectives in assigned areas
  • Manage complex negotiations
  • Position products, rate levels, and expanded product portfolio's to increase sales and maximize revenue
  • Manage the integration of clients and internal organizations to meet clients installation needs and close the deal
  • Identify carious ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line
  • Gain understanding of clients multifaceted needs and recommends appropriate benefits of full product array
  • Provide effective presentations to Aetna constituents

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7- 10 of applicable experience
  • Excellent analytical kills with a proactive nature
  • Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
  • An affinity for accuracy and efficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, word (including mail merge) and outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An Aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
