Overview

Lead BBH's ETF Servicing business in the US while providing support to BBH's product, client relationships, and sales initiatives for ETFs; closely working with ETF CSG, Sales / RM, Product Management, and Systems teams

Product Management

  • Be an ETF SME for internal constituents (i.e. Sales, RM, Risk, CSG, etc.)
  • Educate internal constituents on the ETF marketplace and raise awareness of BBH's ETF servicing capabilities to generate cross selling opportunities
  • Advocate for ETF business with internal constituents across product lines and senior management
  • Actively track and communicate technology development enhancements to Global ETF Business and Technology Teams and keep abreast of competitor technology offerings
  • Further develop BBH's Global ETF Service offering
  • Work with global ETF team across product, RE and CSG to create a feedback loop of latest ETF product trends, product / service offering and competitive intelligence
  • Work with Global Head of ETF Services to manage and optimize the P&L for the US ETF business

Business Development / Representing BBH in Industry

  • Promote BBH products and services throughout the industry and position BBH for long-term opportunities
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for ETF business in region, including segmentation of local market, goals, prioritization, and tailored content to drive new revenue growth
  • In a consultative manner, lead the sales initiatives to promote BBH's ETF servicing capabilities to Asset Managers / ETF sponsors. Furthermore, create "insights" which can be used with clients / prospects
  • Establish and build industry relationships across the US ETF eco-system (i.e. listing exchanges, APs and MMs, law firms, etc) for market intelligence and source of referrals
  • Work with Marketing to develop a marketing campaign in Europe including strategy around building brand, materials, and overall "go-to-market" approach
  • Create and deliver market and product insight to build relationship and credibility with target firms
  • Represent BBH on various ETF Industry related Committees / Advisory Groups (i.e. ICI Advisory, NYSE ETF Group, BlackRock Advisory group, etc.)
  • Attend or Speak at Conferences and Industry Events to further promote BBH's ETF Brand

Relationship Management

  • Provide a leadership and escalation role for all our ETF clients in US
  • Work with RM's to develop an account plan including focusing on areas to improve service as well as growth opportunities
  • Oversee ETF Product launches with Relationship Managers, Business Integration, and Service Delivery Teams

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understand key trends and processing requirements of supporting ETFs
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in Fund Servicing within an Asset Manager or Service Provider (i.e. Custodian, Index Provider, Exchange, Specialist, etc.)
  • Fund Accounting experience, especially with ETFs, preferred
  • Global custody and asset administration product knowledge desirable. Understanding of ETF custody and administration process flows an advantage but not essential
  • Communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills and excellent writing ability
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • ETF Product and/or Distribution experience a plus
  • Project Management / Consulting skills a plus
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Professional business acumen: ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to see open issues to resolution
  • Travel is required
