Ibotta is seeking a Senior Sales Operations Business Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.

The Senior Sales Operations Business Analyst will be responsible for driving visibility into our OKRs and KPIs, by leveraging data across the tech stack to provide dashboards and reporting to help leadership manage the business. Highly analytical and excited about data analysis and data visualization, this person will report to the Director of Sales Operations, partnering to solve manual reporting challenges, focused on driving automation and data quality.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with the implementation of forecasting methodology technology and help drive adoption via reporting and visualization

  • Project manage and serve as subject matter expert for various sales initiatives, including sales analytics and CRM related projects

  • Support leadership through the design, testing, and adoption of sales analytics utilizing visualization techniques including dashboards (Looker, Salesforce, etc.) to highlight key KPIs to support the system

  • Prepare operational and executive-level reports and presentations for sales management including Performance Dialogue, Business Area updates, and team performance (e.g. organizational KPIs, defining trends, providing analysis and reporting)

  • Identify opportunities and best practices to drive data utilization and informed insights for decision making

  • Ensure processes are well documented to maintain consistency, transparency, and data integrity

  • Dive deep to understand sales rep and sales management daily needs and the best way to deliver solutions for them

  • Have experience supporting sales leaders in change management processes to build an organizational understanding of proposed changes

  • Maintain and analyze key reports and dashboards in Salesforce related to sales efficiency and effectiveness; making sure stakeholders have the necessary info to manage their business successfully as well as providing key insights

  • Effectively communicate learnings from analyses to provide recommendations cross-functionally to ensure that targets are met

  • Assist with maintaining the functional areas of data management, forecasting, contacts, leads, opportunities, dashboards and reports, and ensuring data integrity throughout our CRM system

What we are looking for: 

  • 4+ years of experience in sales/marketing analytics, reporting, sales operations or finance

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Technical Skills: 

    • Intermediate to Advanced BI, SQL or Python

    • Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills required

    • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce 

  • Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently with little guidance or oversight

  • High degree of acumen in data visualization
