The Opportunity...

The Sales Operations Specialist is a dynamic and pivotal role focused on supporting the effectiveness of our client facing teams. This function is essential in driving effectiveness in sales processes and supporting the tracking of our go-to-market efforts. The ideal candidate is someone who is pleasantly persistent, likes to understand how things could be improved, and has a general interest in Revenue Operations. The role is a mix of analysis, content development, and systems administration; perfect for someone with a wide range of interests and a predilection for diving deep into rabbit holes.


This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a technology-driven environment and is passionate about optimizing sales processes & efficiency to drive business success. The Sales Operations Specialist will report to the Director of Sales Operations and play a key role in enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of our sales and marketing efforts.

How You'll Contribute...

  • Sales Tech Stack Adoption & Optimization: Ensure optimal usage and adoption of our sales tech stack, including monitoring and correcting issues with data entry & quality and supporting end users by building out views, creating cadences, and running reports as needed
  • Territory Management: Oversee the management of our target account & contact lists, ensuring lists are up to date and properly assigned in Salesforce; ensure Account and Contact assignments are up to date as territories rotate for both Sales and Customer Success
  • Pipeline Analysis and Reporting: Utilize in-platform reporting & dashboards, Excel, and other analytical tools to analyze sales data, generate insights, and produce comprehensive pipeline and sales effectiveness reports.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to the Sales and Client Services teams, ensuring high levels of CRM adoption, gathering feedback from internal stakeholders to document sales processes, improve training, and update sales playbooks to support consistency across the sales and client services teams
  • Sales Content Library Management: Maintain the sales content library, ensuring that all sales materials are current, effective, and easily accessible to the sales team. This includes managing a range of resources such as case studies, product sheets, presentations, and proposal templates, as well as ensuring that usage is aligned with pipeline stages and overall sales strategies.
  • Campaign Assistance: Using Pardot (Account Engagement), collaborate with the marketing team to build campaigns, track lead to opportunity metrics, and analyze campaign effectiveness.

What We're Looking For...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in business development, sales/revenue operations, sales enablement, or systems administration
  • Experienced as an administrator or super user of CRM and Sales Automation platforms
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Experience developing training & support materials for sales teams and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with sales professionals at all levels
  • Familiarity with data analysis, specifically for revenue and pipeline analysis
  • Self-motivated; you can’t not fix something that’s broken and you can’t not improve something that could be better; if you don’t know, you know how to learn
  • You take initiative when you see potential and seek out opportunities to challenge yourself
  • Comfortable operating with an understanding of the present state and the end goal, and then creating the path from A-Z, possessing the ability to drive things forward, even when there is no playbook or template

  • Bonus Points

  • Have worked on platform or data integration projects, specifically with connecting home grown applications/databases.
  • Coursework or work experience regarding performance marketing and/or customer acquisition business models
  • Salesforce certification with demonstrated application of certified skillsets
  • Experience with leading technical projects and/or business process design
  • You have a good “smarter, not harder” and/or “So I wanted to see if I could…” story to share
