What will you be doing?
Firstly, build real and meaningful relationships with existing and prospective customers to identify new sales opportunities and leads. The Senior Sales Representative employs a strategic commercial approach to meet and exceed sales revenue targets, expand market presence, and build strong customer relationships. This dual-pronged approach contributes to our mission of advancing healthcare through innovative robotics technology and cementing our position as a leader in the specialised field of hip and knee replacement surgery.
In order to drive the organizational growth and achieve the revenue targets, seamless collaboration and alignment between yourself, the national Sales director and the Marketing Manager and the Business Development Manager will be essential.
What does success look like?
Success in the role will be determined by revenue and an improved service provision and efficiency in our business interactions with our customers.
This role has responsibility in 3 areas. Prospecting to identify new opportunities and new leads (60%) Pre-sales activities to drive growth in existing accounts (20%) and Post-sales support in existing accounts (20%)
It's the ability to take strategic responsibility for your area, working with your customers to deliver for our patients. In turn, we expect such strategic relationships to maximise sales revenue across the geography this will predominantly be on new accounts to proactively drive growth. This role crafts compelling proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value of our surgery solutions to existing customers. You will be actively involved in negotiations, leading discussions with key decision makers to close deals and secure favourable contracts with the existing customers.
Successful candidates would need the following:
- 2 or more years experience in medical device sales - preferably orthopaedic products.
- Theatre experience - either through clinical sales or a prior clinical (non sales) role.
- Delivery of value-based business proposals to key target customers in defined accounts to meet in year sales revenue targets
- Valid Driving License
Travel requirements: ~ 50-75% Domestic
