Senior Sales Solution Engineer
Job Description
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. You will help drive the success of our sales initiatives by providing expert technical guidance and solutions to potential customers. Anchored in the art of storytelling, the right individual leverages deep discovery and consultative sales tactics blended with technical expertise to drive revenue attainment through compelling narratives that convey the value of our solutions. Through thoughtfully crafted stories, you will highlight how our solution can address our customers' specific problems and drive positive business outcomes, ultimately allowing us to build rapport and trust while showcasing the real-world impact of our SaaS solutions. In addition, your work will be critical to the ongoing development of our product roadmap.
You will be remote, based within the United States, but may serve global teams, and reporting to the Director of Sales Effectiveness.
You Will:
- Collaborate with the Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Operations teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge about Velocity Global's products and services, the marketplace we serve, our competitive landscape, and the broader business initiatives our products and services are leveraged for.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and challenges
- Build strong relationships with key prospects and customers, understanding their short, mid and long-term business goals and challenges.
- Partner with and act as a market feedback loop to internal Product, R&D, Customer Success, Operations, and Legal teams to align product and solution roadmap phases for future release schedules
- Stay current with HR, HRIS, HCM, Staffing industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Share insights and thought leadership with clients and internal teams.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within Human Capital Management Systems, Global Expansion, International HR
- 5+ years of experience in prospect or customer-facing pre-sales or account management roles, with knowledge of strategic HR, international expansion, and/or Enterprise software.
- Passion for and demonstrated ability to produce client-facing demos and deliverables
- Analytics experience and have obtained actionable insights from data.
- Familiarity with cross-border merger and acquisition transactions.
