Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

BILL is seeking a passionate and dedicated sales and support enablement guru to fill a new role on the Strategic Partnerships team. This team drives go-to-market, customer acquisition, and engagement programs with BILL’s financial institution partners. Enabling partner sales and support teams with relevant info about our product(s) is a core responsibility of our team, and we seek a poised professional who can serve as the partner’s expert and point of contact around this work. In addition, this role will have the opportunity to oversee in-product messaging and inform the customer experience.

This role will design and conduct product training for our partners’ sales leads and teams, as well as for support leads and teams. This includes training for any new partners or team members, and ongoing training and sales incentive initiativesCandidates should be excited to develop enablement materials for sales and support groups, to become a product advocate, and help with ad hoc projects including customer acquisition webinars. 

Another key responsibility will be around the rollout of Pendo, an in-product discovery tool we are launching in our channel. This role will support the platform oversight, creation and customization of new alerts and notifications customers see when they log into our solution. This will require understanding user journeys, strategizing on what’s important for users to see, and creating a holistic view of all the different types of alerts and notifications cross-functional groups will request, as well as how they perform. 

The ideal candidate thrives on driving projects and programs that create an impact for our business, including increasing the number of enrollments and active users. They’ll be savvy enough to create compelling and creative ways to keep our product in front of busy sales and support teams that may be selling or supporting a suite of other products. They’ll have ideas on how to best continually educate bank salespeople and end users on product benefits and new features. This will all require cross functional collaboration with partner marketing, partner management and product groups among others. 

Candidates should be comfortable working on analysis and improvement of their work, understanding how crucial it is to gather feedback, iterate and ultimately improve any training, programs or materials. Candidates may also be asked to oversee or work with our analytics team on general customer behavior requests, other data pulls, and dashboard setups. This team and our partners are KPI focused and impact-driven.

Candidates should also be willing to assist with day-to-day support and operations of a partnerships department such as organizing content into folders, creating a repository of assets, and preparing emails, reports, and presentations for internal and external use. 

B2B experience and an understanding of the fintech + banking environment is preferred but not required. Experience with Pendo or another in-product marketing/messaging tool is preferred but not required. Awareness/some knowledge of partner or channel sales/support is also preferred.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 8+ years experience in sales, product and/or support enablement. Experience with fintech, banking, and SaaS products is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal); strong executive presence and presentation skills; experiencing leading effective trainings with small and large groups and ability to tailor messaging for multiple audiences including technical, executive, external and internal stakeholders – including a willingness to travel for select trainings that may be held in-person
  • Demonstrated success in developing sales/support training materials and content
  • Experience as a product advocate and ability to educate teams on favorite features; bonus if you have worked with in-product notification or discovery tools
  • Motivated self-starter and ability to deliver work in appropriate deadlines/timeframes
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and adept at multitasking and adapting to evolving priorities
  • Capability to grow in the position, curious, analytical, and tech savvy
  • Humility, a sense of humor, and a team player
  • Highly proficient in Google suite (including Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • BA or relevant degree
