Senior Sales Support Specialist ( Hybrid- NYC)

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Sr. Sales Support associate in our New York, NY office. In this position you will focus on business development and lead generation for the Broadridge Asset Management business focusing on Hedge Funds and Private Debt Funds.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Support Specialist, reporting to the Vice President of Sales. In this role, you will work closely with our Segment sales teams to develop and execute strategies for lead generation, sales and revenue generation. You will formulate a process for initiating contact with potential clients through cold calling, social media and e-mail communications. You will be responsible for securing client meetings for our sales team and to learn and help implement strategies to introduce new products and capabilities to prospects and clients. You will work to understand and communicate to the sales team the prospective clients' strategic objectives as well as their current front, middle and back office technology and operational needs in support of delivering the right Broadridge solution.

You will be part of a highly collaborative team in delivering these solutions that includes Sales, Product Specialists, Sales Engineers, and Service teams. Our team is comprised of hard working and ambitious self-starters focused on direct sales and building our brand in the buy-side community. Through organic and acquisitive growth you will continue to have new solutions and technologies to learn about and bring to market. Your ability to originate sales and build strong relationships with prospects via cold calling, in person meeting, conference attendance is critical.
Responsibilities:
- Support Sales Executives in the Sales process including creating and executing strategies to routinely call upon, prospect and secure appointments with Hedge Funds. This includes identifying prospects, establishing relationships, improving outbound contact volume, and researching and developing sales presentations.
- Work across departments including, but not limited to, sales, business partners, and marketing to study and develop strategies to support proactive sales, develop appropriate service and merchandising support, and maintain constant awareness of current and planned development of Broadridge products.
- Continually and proactively educate self on the industries we serve, identify trends and translate them into to opportunities for our solutions
- Attend industry conferences and other thought leadership/networking events to represent Broadridge products and solutions
- Provide management with all requested sales reports and supporting correspondence, including the utilization of the sales management tool; forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
- Think creatively and recommend processes improvements for efficiency and cost reduction
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 Years' Experience within the Hedge Fund industry
- Ability to achieve sales results individually and in collaboration with others
- Ability to handle multiple duties with rapidly changing deadlines
- Ongoing ability to learn new products and services
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to quickly build prospecting and communication skills to effectively articulate Broadridge's value proposition
- Ability to take a consultative sales approach to problem solving with prospective clients

Salary range $75,000.00- $90,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
