Senior Salesforce Administrator

Sol Systems is seeking a full-time Senior Salesforce Administrator to head our internal Salesforce and Sales automation practice. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, well-organized, proactive, and would be equally comfortable working with the CIO to support a sales automation strategy, eliciting requirements from stakeholders, helping to architect solutions, executing on implementation, and administering of the Salesforce platform on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities assigned to the selected candidate will include overseeing and leading all activities related to Salesforce and related sales automation activities, including:

• Working with non-technical business users to elicit requirements, architect solutions, and implement enhancements to our Salesforce application
• Administering the Salesforce platform
• Administer third-party sales automation tools integrated with Salesforce
• Providing support to non-technical business users as needed
• Supporting drafting and maintenance of sales automation strategy
• Leading training sessions related to the Salesforce platform
• Proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement of the Salesforce platform
• Additional tasks related to Salesforce administration and enhancement as needed

A successful candidate will possess the following competencies, skills and attributes:

• Minimum B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Multiple Salesforce.com Certifications, including Administrator/Advanced Administrator, Consultant (Experience or Service Cloud preferred), and Architect (Sharing & Visibility preferred); designer and developer certifications a plus
• Minimum 10 years’ demonstrated experience working with all aspects of the Salesforce eco-system, including helping to design and implement complex architectures on the platform
• Self-motivated, able to work independently to identify, prioritize, and promptly address issues
• Comfortable working directly with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Focused on delivering tightly-scoped, high-quality solutions on time and on budget
• Excellent ability to communicate with non-technical users and elicit needed requirements
• Comfortable recommending and training around Salesforce best practices
• Experience with third-party apps and integration tools such as Smartsheet, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, JitterBit, or Talend a plus

Location & Hours: This is a full-time role and will be based in our Washington, DC office.
