Job Description

About the Role:

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing administration and support of Salesforce and other applications integrating/implemented on the Salesforce platform. You will play a key role on the Enterprise Business Systems team - reporting, setting standards, governance guidelines and managing key processes such as release management, deployment strategies and administration best practices. 

 

You will: 

 
  • Utilize SF administrator skills to continuously deliver business solutions while maintaining existing functionality Salesforce 

  • Understand, analyze, and improve upon the business systems in place, as well as integrated applications 

  • Maintain and manage 3rd party applications 

  • Evaluate current state of role hierarchy setup and permission sets and architect a foundation that aligns with the organization's needs

  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards in Salesforce 

  • Manage and set best practices for administration of users, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types and page layouts in Salesforce 

  • Act as a SME in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems 

  • Support custom objects, formulas, validation rules, workflows, flows, process builder, approvals, and assignment rules 

  • Monitor all lower environments (Salesforce Sandboxes) for release process / creating and synchronizing sandbox metadata and appropriate data sets 

  • Act as the point of contact for all the teams in terms of schedule, deployment, and process to be followed 

  • Communicate release details, expectations, and schedules to the business as required 

  • Keep up to date on CRM releases (patches, upgrades,), CRM news and industry information 

  • Perform daily administration of data manipulation tasks such as data loading, merging of duplicates, ownership, and task assignments 

  • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, and Security) 

 

 

 

You have: 

 
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent degree

  • 5+ years' experience implementing, configuring, and administering Salesforce 

  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ. 

  • Competency with Salesforce automation, including building flows, process builders, workflow rules and formula fields

  • Strong understanding of permission sets, role hierarchy

  • Experience managing, triaging, and resolving user-submitted issues via an internal ticketing system(s) 

  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed 

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, clearly document technical requirements and solutions being configured 

  • Responsiveness to internal business partners and a strong sense of urgency to address issues that impact end-users 

  • Expertise with release management tools and concepts (change sets, gearset, ownbackup , Copado, etc.) 

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data integration tools; capable of using ETL tools, Data Loader, and manipulating data for load in Salesforce 

  • Experience in managing the integration of applications connected to Salesforce.com, including but not limited to Salesforce CPQ, Marketo, DocuSign, Conga, etc.

  • Experience with implementing Salesforce is a plus
