Senior Salesforce CPQ Administrator
Job Description
Position summary:
The Senior Salesforce CPQ Administrator will help architect our CPQ Salesforce system and help drive out sales strategies, pricing, and product structure in CPQ. They are responsible for the design, development, and administration of the CPQ platform and the merriment with our Salesforce infrastructure. A successful candidate will be an expert in CPQ strategy and implementation and extremely confident navigating all CPQ objects, including price rules, product rules, data tables, etc. This position is part of the Salesforce team that supports Sojern’s business operations for all teams, including Sales, Client Success, Operations, Product Management, Strategic Planning and Analysis, and end-users to ensure the system meets business process requirements and keeps pace with changes in operations, policies and/or procedures.
What you will do:
- Manage CPQ platform and other internal systems.
- Design and maintain CPQ solutions - leading charge on design and development to hands on developing the solution to training and adoption.
- Manage approvals related to CPQ and make changes as needed by business requirements or proactive discovery.
- Consult and manage the needs and requirements of business partners- Legal, Finance, Sales, and Leadership.
- Ensure data is passed to Salesforce, Netsuite, and our internal Portal 3.0 system so there are clear systems of record.
- Assist with developing complex declarative automation on the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations.
- Gather requirements to deliver and communicate enhancements to the Salesforce platform stakeholders
- Provide end-user support and trainingÂ
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation on system configuration and support resources
- Seek out ways to utilize new Salesforce CPQ features and functionality to improve processes
What you bring to the table:Â
- Salesforce CPQ admin hands-on experience required 3+ years
- Salesforce administrative/Â functional design experience required 5+ years
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification (CPQ 301) required
- Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience preferred.
- CPQ consulting experience preferred but not required (wide range of exposure to many CPQ implementations a bonus!)
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Experience with document generation tools - Adobe Sign would be a huge plus
