Summary: 

Veruna is seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer to support our delivery process. KPIs will be related to deploying updates and upgrades to customers, customer feedback on understanding of deployment instructions and quality of pre-deployment packaging and test handling.  

Responsibilities: 

• Optimize and automate existing DevOps process - the majority of which is Salesforce DevOps with an eye toward fully automating the deployment process 
• Employ and implement best practices for repeatable DevOps practices 
• Strategize and define effective future state DevOps requirements, processes and tools, then clearly communicate them 
• Ensure packages are efficiently and quickly deployed to Veruna customers 
• Educate team members and stakeholders on release requirements and ensure they are thoughtfully included throughout the release cycle
• Communicate and provide weekly updates related to release activities  
• Support and track Go-Live activities to ensure a successful release
• Maintain proper DevOps/release documentation related to build and deployment
• Facilitate Veruna re-certification on the Salesforce AppExchange  

What You Need: 

Salesforce DevOps experience including: 

• Expert level knowledge of Salesforce CLI DevOps tooling - specifically CumulusCI, SFDX, Python and Javascript scripting languages
• Architect/expert level managed package creation experience and deployment in an ISV setting (ISV setting is a must)
• Git experience – at the CLI level  
• Azure GitHub automated pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce managed package deployments into external orgs including creation and use of deployment automation tools and scripts
• Creation of one-click deployments of Salesforce managed packages
• Highly analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills along with attention to detail
• Proven ability to deliver on commitments and timelines  
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple competing priorities  
• Demonstrated experience supporting a team to consistently meet delivery deadlines  
• Prior cloud computing / SaaS experience  
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies like Scrum  

What Will Make You Stand Out: 

• Hands-on Salesforce development expertise using Apex, Vforce, LWC, and Aura components 
• Experience passing Salesforce Security Reviews for AppStore publishing   
• Hands-on ability to identify and implement solutions for Salesforce package security vulnerabilities
