POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Salesforce Developer (SSD) will work with a SCRUM team delivering creative and sophisticated software solutions on the Force.com platform. The SSD is responsible for developing front-end and back-end solutions through all stages of the software development lifecycle and managing each aspect of Salesforce implementation ranging from declarative configuration, software customization, and 3rd party integrations. The SSD works closely with business units and fellow team members to understand our business needs and design robust and scalable solutions to meet those needs. With a focus on custom development, the SSD will implement solutions to business challenges, integrate disparate systems, and make technical recommendations that support organizational needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Salesforce platform including both platform features and Millennium Trust's specific configuration and customization
• Serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust software solutions on the Force.com platform
• Take a lead role in architectural design and review of our Salesforce implementation
• Build a deep understanding of business processes and principles to ensure a proper solutions architecture is envisaged and implemented
• Communicate Salesforce strategy and architecture to key stakeholders
• Mentor others in Salesforce development technologies, tools and processes
• Keep abreast of new Salesforce releases for the Force.com platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Integration Cloud, and Heroku
• Develop modern reactive web interfaces using the Lightning Platform
• Integrate Salesforce with internal applications and 3rd party platforms
• Create test cases to perform unit testing to detect defects and regression test
• Participate in areas such as web security, REST/SOAP APIs and system monitoring
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Major(s): Computer Science or related field
• Certifications: Platform Developer I & Platform Developer II certifications?
• 3-5 years of experience
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Force.com Development required
• 7+ years of experience in professional Object-Oriented Development is preferred
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Programming and Administration (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, Web Services, Reporting, Page Layouts, and Workflows)
• Experience serving as a team lead on large projects
• Experience communicating with senior management both to gather requirements and to explain solution designs
• Knowledge of enterprise system integration background with Web Services and ETL
• Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with reactive web development frameworks such as Salesforce Lightning, Angular, React, and Vue • Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities
• Professional track record of superb interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
• Prior work experience in a financial services industry preferred
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology preferred
• Experience developing reactive web applications in frameworks such as Lightning, Angular, or React preferred
• Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as source code control, continuous deployment, release management preferred
• Experience with other object-oriented development tools such as C#/.Net and Java preferred
