About the team

Our Global Partnerships Partner Products team builds products in support of Stripe’s goal to build a flexible, customizable and extensible multi-product platform. Our partner program and partner portal support scaled partner efforts across multiple partner types using a common set of commercial models, tools and processes. The partner portal provides a way to engage partners - including systems integrators, payment method partners, app developers and more - with the ability to share leads, access marketing and learning content, earn rewards, etc. We are expanding the types of partners we support and are evolving our products to support the

What you’ll do

As a Senior Salesforce Developer supporting our partner portal, you’ll be responsible for the development and health of Stripe’s portal, built on Salesforce Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast paced environment, collaborating across functions, and demonstrates curiosity in seeking solutions to challenging problems. 

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for building and maintaining a best-in-class partner experience through Stripe’s self-serve partner portal.
• Make recommendations and execute on technical decisions that will enable us to develop efficiently in the context of our long-term vision.
• Effectively work autonomously and collaboratively to design and implement both tactical and project related deliverables
• Work closely with product managers and business partners to understand and refine requirements, objectives, and processes to drive strategic solutions
• Build for scale by designing holistically, with a focus on flexibility and maintainability
• Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are followed to create an effective control environment
• Design and develop high quality software products in an Agile environment

Minimum requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level solutions on the Salesforce Experience Cloud product suite.
• Platform Developer I certification.
• Experience Cloud Consultant certification.
• Experience with Salesforce front end development including LWC, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, as well as expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud development, including APEX, Aura Components, Lightning Web Components, and Lightning Web Runtime.
• Familiarity with Salesforce data models and best practices for integrating Salesforce with other systems.
• Experience with Salesforce integration with third-party systems (CMS, LMS, etc.).
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, particularly in managing authentication and authorization between systems.
• Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems.
• Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems.
• Think about systems, services, and platforms, and write high-quality code.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Preferred qualifications

• Advanced Admin certification a plus.
• Platform Developer II and JavaScript certifications a plus.
• Experience (Community) Cloud expert with 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Expert in Lightning Design System and Lightning Web Components.
• Responsive Design web development with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.
• Proficient in Salesforce development, including Salesforce CLI (DX IDE), migration tools, SOSL, SOQL, web services, app builder, and experience builder.
