Senior Salesforce Developer- Net Zero Cloud (Mid - Senior Level)

As a Senior Salesforce Developer with a focus on Net Zero Cloud you will work closely with the Net Zero Lead. The projects you will be involved in are from a variety of industries in leveraging Net Zero Cloud to measure and manage carbon footprints, monitor water and waste impact, streamline sustainability performance reporting, and support the progress of decarbonisation plans.

Your expertise in Salesforce and data management will be critical to providing strategic technical guidance to help clients leverage data and technology to achieve their sustainability goals. Additionally, your knowledge in carbon accounting and sustainability reporting frameworks will enable you to understand client data requirements to design, implement, and test solutions that are robust, defensible, auditable, and align to national and international standards.

You may occasionally be assigned to Salesforce projects unrelated to Net Zero Cloud, as demand dictates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Customization and Configuration - Develop custom objects, workflows, triggers, and Visualforce pages to meet business needs. Customize existing Salesforce apps and modules according to project requirements.
2. Integration - Integrate Salesforce with other third-party systems using APIs, REST, SOAP, and middleware.
3. Development and Coding - Write, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components. Create custom functionality using Salesforce's proprietary languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
4. Salesforce Application Design - Collaborate with business analysts and architects to design scalable Salesforce solutions. Ensure solutions are in line with Salesforce best practices and development standards.
5. Data Management - Manage and optimize Salesforce data structure, including custom fields, records, and objects. Perform data migration and data cleansing activities when required.
6. Testing and Debugging - Conduct unit testing and end-to-end testing of custom developments. Debug and fix any issues or bugs in Salesforce applications.
7. User Support and Documentation - Provide technical support for Salesforce users. Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions implemented.
8. Upgrading and Maintaining the Platform - Keep up with Salesforce platform updates and integrate new features.
Ensure Salesforce implementations are secure and scalable for future needs.
9. Collaboration - Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define development tasks.
Act as a a bridge between Functional Team, BSAs and lead and explain requirements to the development Team. Perform Technical Lead to suggest technical &/or process enhancements or optimizations based on Salesforce capabilities.
10. Security and Compliance - Perform Code Reviews and best practices. Ensure that the Salesforce platform adheres to company security protocols and industry regulations.
As part of this role, we also need you to have Net Zero Cloud understanding & experience.
'-Design and configure Salesforce Net Zero Cloud and other supporting Salesforce technologies, i.e. Sales/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, where required to meet client requirements. Includes the configuration of the Net Zero Cloud data model, calculations, and automations.
- Configure CRM Analytics / Tableau dataflows, recipes, reports, and dashboards to meet client analytics requirements.
- Perform data migrations of high-volume data sets, including collecting, transforming, load, and validation of client data, as part of Net Zero Cloud implementations and ongoing services.
- Assist clients in gathering, transforming, and migrating sustainability data.
- Help Respond to client support questions and requests via phone and email in relation to solutions that have been implemented.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Apex Programming, LWC, Salesforce Deployment, REST/Soap API Integrations,

• Data Migration, Configuration, Flows.

• CRM Analytics, Net Zero Cloud experience.

• Good to Have - Experience Cloud, CRM Analytics, Net Zero Cloud experience or understanding.
