Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect to join their team. This is a full-time position and 100% remote role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
• Lead the development and implementation of Salesforce projects, including configuring and customizing the platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and new features, and provide recommendations on leveraging new functionality
• Participate in system and integration testing, as well as user acceptance testing
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer/Architect
• Active Salesforce Certification (must be able to provide proof of cert)
• Extensive experience in customizing and configuring Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and declarative tools (Process Builder, Workflow Rules, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
• Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
