About the Role:

The Senior Scientific Manager role will be a member of the Clinical Science team at Click. In this role, you will manage and contribute to the development and validation of digital therapeutics for serious diseases, such as schizophrenia. This role is highly collaborative, and the ideal candidate should be passionate about clinical science innovation and excited about the potential of digital therapeutics to help people in need. The ideal candidate should also have experience promoting medication adherence, health behavior change, and/or driving treatment engagement with digital interventions. This role will report to the Associate Director of Clinical Science.

Generally positions at Click can be on-site, remote or hybrid (an optimal combination of remote and on-site). Our headquarters is located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We also have dedicated spaces in central Miami, San Francisco, and Boston, and, in addition, via our partnership with Industrious, any Click employee can access co-working locations nationally.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the therapeutic development of specific digital therapeutic product(s) in close collaboration with other cross-functional leads 
• Manage clinical scientists responsible for digital therapeutic development
• Maintain familiarity with scientific literature to identify novel opportunities for digital therapeutics 
• Represent the clinical science team in collaborations with global development partners
• Mange and design and conduct exploratory research projects to optimize the treatment and related product features
• Support scientific communications by presenting results at conferences and seminars
• Guide the professional development of direct report

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Science, Health Psychology, or a related field, or M.D. in Psychiatry
• Experience with or understanding of treatments for serious mental illness
• Strong understanding of the science of health behavior change
• Strong understanding of factors that promote medication adherence and treatment engagement
• At least two years of experience building, optimizing, or evaluating digital health interventions
• At least 2 years of management experience
• Tech savvy with confidence in the transformative potential of software as treatments
• Record of scientific publication and presentation
