Job Description

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring Senior Scientist.

• Position type: Direct Hire
• Location: Syracuse, New York
• Job/ Shift Hours : Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30 pm

As a Senior Scientist:

• Developing, validating, and writing all methods for new product analytical and lab testing protocol.
• Releasing raw materials and pilot lot for testing and check work of others for compliance for established procedures.
• Ensuring that materials and equipment are available to complete projects.
• Testing finished products, raw materials and drug components using established methodology. Assist in training and quality review of lab analysts.
• Responsible for testing of all new development raw material and pilot lot stability samples following standard operating procedures.
• Developing and writing instrument calibration methods.
• Inspect the work of other scientists for compliance.
• Train and advise personnel about new methods, instrument operation and computer analysis of data and assist in troubleshooting and solving problems.

The ideal candidate will have:

• BS degree in Chemistry or MS degree is a plus
• 4 - 5 years of prior experience
• Familiar with products and procedures

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $70,000 to $80,000 per year

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
