Senior Scientist II

Fors Marsh Group seeks Senior Scientist II for its Arlington, Virginia office. Duties include: Develop quality control procedures that will be utilized organization wide on quantitative research projects and train project managers and researchers on these quality control procedures. Lead research projects and successfully do project management tasks while also supporting the quality control for those projects. Support business development, client management, and be the final reviewer for the statistical and methodological accuracy of deliverables. Must have either: (1) Master’s degree in Statistics or Closely Related with two years of experience as a Statistician, Researcher or Closely Related position OR (2) Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Closely Related with five years of experience as a Statistician, Researcher or Closely Related position. Must also have 24 months experience with applied statistical analysis and methods. Knowledge of: multiple statistical programming languages (i.e., Stata, R, Python); at least one social science field (i.e., sociology, psychology, political science, etc.); Federal contracting; and Military recruiting practices. Salary: $78,437/year.
