Senior Scientist Manager
Job Description
Conduct advanced scientific research. Contribute new ideas and experimental approaches to research projects and support the design and development of processes for new products, product performance evaluation, and troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Analyze data and develop experimental designs. Manage scientific projects. Manages Professional employees and/or Supervisors. Has budget, deadline responsibility in the area managed. Typically, responsible for the day-to-day management of one functional area. Typically requires: Bachelor's; 8+ years of related professional experience; 5+ years supervisory experience.
ARA GROUP LEADER - Manages a team of scientists/engineers up to 10 employees. Responsible to the Division Manager for all HR, facility, equipment, budget requirements related to the Group. Responsible to the Division Manager for all business development and performance of Group projects. Workload is expected to be 65% managerial/leadership and 35% technical performance.

Analyses of space systems// Artificial intelligence tools// Customized models and simulations for new technology assessments
REQUIREMENTS: 5 years' experience as a supervisor. 5 years' experience as a project manager. 10 years' experience in space-related technical fields and customers noted in the ARA Work Area. SECRET clearance with capability to acquire TOP SECRET/SPECIAL COMPARTMENTALIZED INFORMATION clearance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Resides in Albuquerque, NM. TS/SCI current clearance. Demonstrated business development in space-related fields.

- Architecture Analyses (AFRL/RV, MDA, Others) - includes multi-domain earth/Cis lunar for SATCOM, PNT, SDA, missile warning & defense
- Technology evaluation and military utility (AFRL/RV, AFRL/RD) - includes MS&A, strategies, exercises for ISR, Missile Warning, SATCOM and performance analyses for GEO and all-weather imaging
- Security Defense (DTRA, USSF, IC) - system assurance, high-altitude nuclear effects MS&A, nuclear survivability, space weather, directed energy, cyber offense/defense
- Geospatial Intelligence (IARPA, NGA) - includes scene matching, object recognition, landcover/materials classification, 3D model generation
- Advanced electromagnetic design and testing (AFRL, IC) - includes high-fidelity computational MS&A for antenna/radar cross-section technologies, as well as design/fabrication/testing of specialized antennae and radomes
