WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Senior Scrum Master with the ability to oversee agile maturity within their teams, drive deliverables to completion, as well as help build a culture of collaboration where every voice is heard. This individual will be skilled in mentoring and coaching their teams and collaborating with other scrum masters to build deeper agile skills. This role will be key in igniting Nike's move towards its Consumer Direct Acceleration and Enterprise Data & Analytics Strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be the servant leader to one or more Enterprise Data & Analytics teams. You will coach and partner with Technical and Business Product Management in addition to Data Engineering to estimate and size work. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies and events (backlog refinement, iteration planning, daily stand-up, retrospective, demos). You will help teams to prepare for quarterly planning events. Establish and track team level metrics. Facilitate and assist Product Management with meeting commitments. Identify, remove, and escalate risks and roadblocks. Accountable for promoting continuous improvement by coaching and leading teams. Interact with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness of Scrum in the organization and cross team / cross-functional collaboration. Continuously learn and apply innovative approaches to facilitation of agile standard practices. Help the team to focus on delivery of value and high-quality stories on a predictable and sustainable pace.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work with the Data Engineering and Product teams across the Global Technology and Business Analytics organizations. You'll play a critical role in providing underlying agile skills for our teams. Within the teams, you will be helping to build critical capabilities across functions at Nike. You will work with the broader scrum master team to drive Scrum and Agile maturity that includes a cross team coordination and aligning to agile standards and principles.

WHAT YOU BRING
Some combination of these qualifications and technical skills will position you well for this role:

- 5+ years relevant work experience e.g. on Agile

- Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (e.g. Jira)

- Familiarity or experience with agile methodologies such as LEAN, Kanban, SAFe, XP Programming, etc.

- In-depth understanding of Agile Principles and how they apply in workplace culture

- Strong facilitation and mentor skills within teams and groups

- Experience resolving issues across teams

- Effective communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, mentoring, and servant leadership skills

- Relevant certification in the scrum/agile field is preferred. Examples: Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

- Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
