General Function / Summary:
CNG Holdings is hiring a Senior Scrum Master to come join our close-knit team! The Senior Scrum Master is responsible for providing leadership and mentorship to cross-functional agile teams. Guide and facilitate projects involving large, complex technology and business-oriented solutions, through effective application of the agile based SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle) and associated ceremonies and events. This role will ensure timely delivery of all development projects by orchestrating internal and external requests and resource capacity.
Essential Duties:

Lead complex, multi-disciplinary software development projects from inception to completion.

Facilitate discussions and drive resolution to issues.

Work with Product Owners to ensure project scope does not increase without appropriate coverage (resource, financial, etc.).

Manage project schedules, identify risks and communicate them to the appropriate channels.

Maintain dependency plan between planned sprints across development, infrastructure, and third parties.

Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

Create an environment in which the team is continuously learning from the past.

Work with the team to groom the backlog for preparation for future sprints.

Tracks team members’ work progress ensuring delivery commitments are achieved.

Break down barriers and shield the development team from impediments to ensure progress against sprints and deadlines.

Manage and track team velocity and other KPIs in relation to the plan and published progress reports.

Ensure team is following established best practices.

Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in delivering solutions in a timely fashion.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
-
4+ years of relevant work experience
-
Experience with professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC)

Experience managing software development projects

Must be able to multi-task, problem solve, learn quickly, and adapt to changing priorities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to effect change in a matrix managed environment

Excel in a fast-paced environment providing rapid delivery for business partners

Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development methodologies to deliver technology solutions on time, on budget, and to specifications

Experience working in a highly collaborative environment that values speed and quality, with a strong desire to drive change and foster a positive work environment to achieve results
